As I always say, T. Lipop's hooded backpack is always on my favourite list although it has been using in many different collection successively. After seeing him in Vauxhall Fashion Scout's Ones to Watch and the Selfridges' Bright Young Things, I met his latest collection in the Fashion East installation. Linking to his previous collections which are inspired by travelling and roam, the S/S 2013 collection brings us to Mexico and explores The Day of The Dead.
T. Lipop to me is a wearable brand with many small details and nice patterns. The surprise of the collection is the embroidery!! The embroidered roses and skulls on jackets and loafers are my favourites in the collection but also the iconic bag and hooded backpack as well. Because of the inspiration, the colour tone tends to be brighter and bold. Orange and purplish pink, sky blue and yellow. Tom gets a great balance between being innovative and masculine with his great tailoring skills and catchy accessories. (The models' make-up were good too!) I think this is the reason I love his brand, and please, buy me the shoes.
